With a scholarship from IQUZ Galaxy Trust, a student from Mohdevpur is now the first in her village to sit for the Class X board examination.
In the small village of Mohdevpur, where very few girls have ever sat for board examinations, one young student is about to make history. Supported by a scholarship from IQUZ Galaxy Trust, she has been able to continue her studies when financial hardship threatened to end them.
Her father, a daily wage labourer, was unable to cover school fees and examination costs after a difficult harvest season. When the Trust's field coordinators identified the family during a welfare survey, a scholarship was arranged within the week — covering fees, textbooks and transport for the full academic year.
Today she is studying for her Class X board examinations with quiet determination. "I want to become a teacher and come back to this village," she says. The Trust's education team visits monthly to track progress and provide academic support.
Stories like hers are why the Trust prioritises education as the surest pathway out of poverty. To support more students like her, please consider contributing to our education programme.
